Welcome to 805 News Relay! 805 News Relay initially started out as a “test” in early 2019 on Twitter (later expanding to Facebook and Instagram) to relay information on some news incidents as it was happening.

805 News Relay is ran by a single person. This person also runs the breaking photo and video news page VCStringer.

The purpose of this revamped website is to provide news and information mainly for the Ventura County area. Even though I am only a college student that spends a little too much time listening to radio feeds, I cite my articles at the bottom with press release(s) if they are publicly available. Additionally, anyone can view posts on my site for free with no ads (no subscription, no paywall, etc.).
